From Topsham, Maine, Hank is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, climbing, playing guitar, and chess. Known for his laid-back and positive nature, he’s a team player who uplifts any group. Although not circus-ready, Hank can ride a unicycle and dreams of a ski hut trip for some fresh powder.
Originally from a small farm in Indiana, Riese brings a strong hospitality background and an easy, people-focused approach to her work. When she’s not at work, she’s snowboarding, hiking 14ers, drawing portraits of her friends, or spending time with her family who are also avid skiers. She’s passionate about traveling and believes her best experiences, and best friendships, have come from exploring new places, a curiosity she carries into everything she does.
Born and raised in Summit County, McKenna Orr brings an adaptable, curious, and positive energy to everything she does. Outside of work, she loves skiing, practicing yoga, and has recently picked up knitting as a new creative hobby. A former rugby player with a spirit for adventure, McKenna hopes to one day hike Machu Picchu—and she’s excited to be part of The Pinnacle Companies’ vibrant, community-driven culture.
Originally from Jefferson, Georgia, Maddy moved to Summit County after graduating from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Outside of the office, you can find her snowboarding, hiking, camping, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
What started as a mountain destination wedding in August 2013, led Natalie to begin her career at Pinnacle Lodging. Outside of work she hikes with her two dogs Aspen and Petey, playing in her coed softball league, traveling, and visiting friends and family.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Michael moved to Summit County in 2018. After graduating with his master’s degree in science education, Michael taught high school for over eight years. Michael’s interests lie in education, employee development and engagement, problem solving, and volunteering with at-risk youth. When not in the office, you can find him traveling, running, playing tennis, golfing, skiing, baking, and cuddling with his cats. Being married to someone who speaks multiple languages, one of Michael’s personal goals is to learn Spanish.

After graduating from Humboldt State University in Northern California with a degree in International Finance and a minor in Spanish, Alex Rae has returned to her Summit County roots. Her passions lie in mental health initiatives, enjoying the great outdoors, and eating chips. When not in the office you can find her hanging out with her chickens, petting cows, biking, running, relaxing on a boat, or simply just taking a nap.
VP of Finance & Operations
With a crazy long Thai last name, Asa joined us in the early years and now oversees the financial and operational aspect of The Pinnacle Companies. When not exploring the backcountry with his wife and two boys, you’ll find Asa snowboarding, mountain biking, or drinking a beer on a patio with BBQ and a view. From week long trips in the desert to the beaches of Southeast Asia, Asa loves finding adventure with his family and friends.
Colleen is originally from Boyertown, Pennsylvania. She loves to travel, ski, cross country ski, hike, paddle board, backpack, camp, fly fish, read, go to hot yoga, go to live music, spend time with her family, and bring her puppy Millie and her boyfriend Jake, along for all of it. Colleen describes herself as collaborative, friendly, and passionate. One of her bucket list goals is to visit all 50 states by the time she is 30 and explore all the National Parks.
Born and raised in Summit County, Alex spent years chasing some combination of a career in professional rugby and tech marketing all over the world. But as it happens to so many, the allure of Summit County became too much to ignore. When not working, he spends his time pursuing all the activities his doctor tells him he should avoid, ski mountaineering, mountain biking, canyoneering, and even a little rugby when he’s feeling nostalgic.
