Growing up in Colorado, Charles learned how to ski while still in diapers. He went to high school at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Minnesota, then to Western Michigan University where he graduated with a degree in Technical Production & Design. You can find Charles on the mountain in winter and summer, often with his dog, skiing, camping, or hiking.
