Rental Rules In Frisco

Every Frisco home rented for under 30 nights needs a Town license, and Frisco caps licenses at 900 townwide, a limit reached in 2023. New owners typically register for the waitlist before they can rent.

Listings must show the license number and the home's approved occupancy
Waitlist positions are tied to the named owner and the property address
Licenses do not transfer when a home sells
The annual fee is $250; taxes on every booking total 15.725%
Occupancy is bedroom-based: two per bedroom, plus four
A 24/7 emergency contact, parking plan, and life-safety affidavit are required
